We have performed extensive testing and it's finally ready! As you all know we have been unable to tune the new 2008-'09 Bosch ECM controllers for the Solstice & SKY. After acquiring the required software and extensive testing we are ready to release this tune. You'll find we have produced the same gains at the 2006-'07 LE5 Motors...
Here are a few changes that are found in our Level 1 ECM Tune:
Cooling Fans set to 205F
Fan speed increase for more rapid cooling.
Speed Limiter Removed
Mass Air Flow sensor calibrated for most cold air intakes on the market.
Power Enrichment delay removed to allow for more immediate Full-Throttle response
Air Fuel Ratio adjusted for better performance.
Timing Calibrated for Premium Grade Fuel. (91+ octane).
Low end torque and fuel economy improved by adjusted timing
Spike at ~4,000rpms less severe due to a more linear power curve
Top end timing advanced 2-3 degrees for better peak horsepower
RPM Limiter increased in manuals to allow for more aggressive full throttle shifts
Torque Management (granny controls) removed to prevent computers from reducing torque output below 3,000 RPMs
You must be techical enough to remove and reinstall your ECM (If sending in your stock ECM). All ECM’s are turned around with in 7 business days and are mailed via USPS 2-3 day Priority Mail (expedited turn-around and overnight service also available for extra charge -- call 866-SKY-SOLS to check availability and best timing for expedited turnaround)
