It's finally here! After a year of waiting, we have completed our tune for the 2.0 LNF motor! We have some dyno data and have completed extensive road testing and feel that this tune is finally ready to open up to the community!
Here are a few changes that are found in our Level 1 LNF ECM Tune:
- Speed Limiter Removed
- Air Fuel Ratio adjusted for
better performance.
- Timing Calibrated for Premium
Grade Fuel. (91+ octane).
- Low end torque and fuel economy
improved by optimizing timing and boost.
- Boost level raised from 16psi
to 22.5psi
- Retains factory “Competition
Mode”
- Optimized Air/Fuel Ratio for increased
boost levels.
- Drastic reduction in turbo
lag (almost instantaneous 22.5psi Boost!)
- No substantial noise increase
over stock tuning
- For automatic transmissions, we can still fully tune the motor but we cannot change the transmission programs.

*2008 Manual Transmission's will require a trip to a GM dealership as part of the tuining process

Update: You can now order the Virtual Tuner so that you do not need to mail your ECM or purchase a second ECM, the V-Tuner provides the
convenience of Zero Down time for your Kappa and no need to swap ECM's!
Note: When increasing Boost Pressure you are advised to tighten all charge pipe clamps. This tune also available for the HHR-SS and the Cobalt SS.
