Ok, I got a little selfish on this one... As many of you know I was one of the earliest adopters for the Solstice. Flying 2800 miles across the country to pick her up in September of 2005, then driving it 3100 miles home.... Why the extra 300 miles..Wrong Turns! Which is how my car (and me) got the nick name the "LOSTSOL"...

Unfortunately about a year ago I was out doing time trials at the Firebird International Raceway on the 13 turn 1.8mile Road coarse where another car decided to push me wide in a turn and I hit a concrete wall doing about 50Mph! Needless to say the other driver was very sorry... as was I when I was released from the paramedics only to find my First 1K Solstice totaled!

So you ask what do you do after  you total your favorite toy at the race track???..... You meet Neil Tjin from the Tjin Edition tour and purchase his $53K Fully Built SEMA Race Solstice...Duh...Of course!

Now this car was not with out it's issues from the start, first of all it was built to tour and show...Not to go! So I had a long list of things to get this car brought up to my standards... After a year of work and about another $8K here is the "nearly" Finished Car, The Car was originally designed by Neil Tjin and built from the ground up by Unique Fabrication of Southern California (Click Here to see the Entire Build Out )

The car was on it's fourth color when I acquired it and we changed it again to a custom Flat Black with Champagne Ghost Stips down the car. The Motor is the 2.4L LE5 with a 16G Turbocharger, 3" Charge Pipes with Blow-By MAP Sensing, an 8Gal Fuel Cell pumped by a 255Lph Pump that feeds a Werks Racing Stage 4+ System which includes a larger center feed fuel rail with double returns to a BEGI 2035 FMU.

The Entire car was gutted of any comforts, all plastic, rubber, and carpet. Along with a full 5point roll cages that will tech out at any track in North America, Status Kevlar racing seats with 4-point harness. Brakes are thanks to SSBC who outfitted the car with 13" Rotors in the front with 6 piston calipers and steel braided lines, the rear's are 12.5" Rotors and 4 piston calipers....Suspension is courtesy of BC Racing with there 30way adjustable suspension package...All this and the car will go from 100Mph to a dead stop in 118'!

Wheels are a custom GMR Painted wheel with 19" Nitto's all the way around. We have two Hard Tops for the car, one is a Club Racer Style that mimics the Stock Soft top and the other is a smooth-line Hard top. GMR HID Headlights and fog Lights make sure that the Space Shuttle can see the car from orbit!

The car is definitely a Blast to drive and its a head turner on the way and at the shows!
